Rat Entertainment

In this film identity for Rat Entertainment, a virtual camera flies through negative space to reveal the logo.

Burning Palms

Inspired by vintage pulp fiction novels, Grand Jeté designed and animated the titles and chapter transitions for Burning Palms. Working with illustrator Jay Steiner, we coupled  live action footage with hand-painted stills in a three-dimensional environment to achieve a flow of seamless storytelling.

Dallas 362

The “Dallas 362” titles set the stage for the movie with references to the fast-paced lifestyle of its stars. In the sequence, we are graphically introduced to “two young men living in Los Angeles who have become enmeshed in a downward spiral of barroom brawls, drinking, womanizing, and scrapes with the law.”

Grizzly Park

The titles for Grizzly Park were inspired by Bible passage: II Kings 2:23, 24 (The Children Destroyed by Bears). This sequence penetrates the surface of the good book and reveals the special form of justice that nature can and often will serve those who deserve it.

Hesher

We collaborated with the film’s director Spencer Susser to illustrate and design a racy and provocative end scroll.
