For HBO's Lenny, we fabricated design elements to achieve a look that is practical and pre-computer revolution. These setups were very much inspired by the bumpers created by Broadcast Arts in the early days of MTV, as well as the burgeoning era of television graphics.
Stop-Motion, claymation, resin-casts, molds, miniatures, prosthetic hair and real animals (none of which were harmed) all came together to create an homage to some of our beloved design heroes.
